I got a "better idea" than having south east #Queensland joining #NewSouthWales and the rest of eastern Australia and adopting #daylightsaving. That is - that it's SCRAPPED altogether in Australia. It sucks, it's unnecessary. DS apparently was invented by Freemasons, who wanted to "control time".

Captain #SmitMachchhar is the embodiment of a "true hero", a legend without peer, for the courage and sheer strength of character he had despite the horrendous, life threatening injuries inflicted upon him by the "scumbag terrorist" sitting next to him in the cockpit. The best and most practical way that businesses can "work around" the ban on credit & debit card surcharges is very simple and old fashioned. To have a policy of CASH IS KING. If customers pay CASH they get a small discount. It might piss the ATO off but it's not illegal. @australia.theguardian.com

Labor governments have always spent more than conservative ones. A significant amount more. Often it is warranted, in relation to funding vital infrastructure etc. But Labor always racks up HUGE DEBT. The Liberals by comparison are "tightarse" 😆, pros and cons to that depending how you look at it.
