Our next zine release after ENFREUDIFICATION is Profane Sorcery Vol. 4. Jonathan Raab and Timaeus Bloom join me this time for some incredibly strange takes on the Sword & Sorcery genre. This one is in the last stretch of production and then will be off to the printers! Preorder available now.
Cover of Profane Sorcery Vol. 4. Featuring a blue cosmic woman holding a planet in her hand while standing on the bank of a lake, one foot in the water. A man phasing out of reality watches her from the trees.

With FIYAH going on indefinite hiatus it's really fucking important we support the mags publishing POC. If you have the means, support the things you love or they will disappear. Everyone's probs sick as fuck of hearing it but a magazine for Black voices stopped publishing today, it isn't abstract.

Difficult post, but past time to rip the band aid off. FIYAH is going on hiatus indefinitely, with issue #40 currently set to be our last for the time being. The mag cannot continue running at a loss, and needs time to reassess operations from top to bottom if a viable path forward is to be created.

Wide black and white illustration by Morelock aka @morelockarts.bsky.social. It shows a sequence of events from left to write, stretched over many years, where authors write stories which children then read, then when they're older they bring their own interpretation of what they read into their games, then one of their players takes their interpretation of that into writing a book of their own, and then a whole new generation reads that book and so on...

A large, two-story Southern plantation-style mansion engulfed in flames, with fire consuming the upper floors and thick black smoke billowing into the sky. The mansion features tall white columns and a grand staircase at the entrance. In the foreground, several firefighters in yellow helmets and protective gear work to manage hoses and battle the blaze, while a white fence separates them from the burning structure. The scene is chaotic and dramatic, with intense fire and smoke dominating the image.
