Ok, I’m not saying about the gun. I really want a pickup but drive a really macho SUV. I sort of come from a military family (Dad was a flight surgeon). I’m 71 so if you hit a woman or kid I’m more likely to call the cops. But guess what? You don’t have to manifest machismo to decide to vote blue.

I understand why people think there's something going on "behind the scenes," but it's mostly out in the open. This is how power struggles happen in an oligarchy. These guys all need each other in order to remain the small group who control the country and loot its wealth away from working people.
