Watched Enys Men (2022, d. Mark Jenkin). Despite some gorgeous 16mm cinematography and a few striking images, I thought it was kind of boring. Watch someone slowly, and do I mean slowly, descend into madness, maybe... #Film #Movies #Cinemastodon

My neighborhood association received an angry email about our biannual newsletter, most likely because it included the number for a 24-hour multilingual immigrant help line operated by Voces de la Frontera (this being the second or third time we've done it). Let me tell you, it was hard writing […]

Did a 180 for tonight's movie by returning to the horror genre. Bring Her Back (2025, d. Danny and Michael Philippou) was brutal to watch in every possible way. Sally Hawkins was excellent, the kids looked and acted like actual kids, and I liked how they used the […] [Original post on dice.camp]

Dare I say that the Badgers may be ranked next week after today's 31-3 win over Michigan State? I almost forgot what hope felt like. That said, Colton Joseph's passing stats were hilarious: 9/20, 145, 3 TDs #CFB #UWMadison #Badgers #Wisconsin #OnWisconsin
