Most #forests are gone due to meat & dairy. The forests we still see are NOT real forests but forestry. They lack CO2 due to lack of a microbiome in the soil. They lack predators and healthy ecosystems. Killing trees & forests for animal food or energy releases more CO2 than burning fossil fuels.

We are collapsing primary production aka carbon sinks for cheap meat & dairy for cheap humans. This is half of all climate forcing. Burning fossil fuels saved us time to end population growth and meat aka deforestation. We didn't and don't discuss it and will hence go extinct soon. #Extinction

Old growth forests store 83% more #CO2 than wood monocultures. 1.5-5% of the Northern hemisphere forests are still old growth. But this is only a tiny part of the full impact of destroying healthy ecosystems aka the last non-cancer cells in the body. The other part is cloud #albedo due to BVOCs.

Our necks hurt just LOOKING at this. Head-wrenching is used in rodeo events like steer wrestling, where cows are physically forced to the ground for sport. Nothing worth watching requires doing this to a cow. Don’t pay for cows to be hurt like this. Skip the rodeo.
