The majority of "the working class" has not been employed in factory or manufacturing or farming at any point in this century in any European country, but politicians refuse to recognize that fact.

Really cool graph from @ernietedeschi.bsky.social on the bad site. Gen Z is the wealthiest generation in history controlling for age. Millennials are now finally wealthier than previous generations were at the same age. We are a very rich country. The problem always is bad distribution of wealth.

In General each generation is slightly wealthier than the previous ones eventually, but only slightly.

Note the timing: Immediately after the election this “hearing” by a politically appointed committee will be held. Trump will then attempt to fire Governor Cook and have her “replacement” confirmed by the lame duck Sentae. This is an illegal ruse to outrun the courts when they reject the replacement.

Another poll that weighted results to Iowa's registered voter file: 39.8% of respondents GOP, 31.2% Dem, 29% independent. Even in 2022, when Iowa Dems had no statewide GOTV, an uncompetitive #IAGov race, and poor turnout, Dems made up 34% of voters. Should be higher this year w/strong field effort.

Good morning. Federal prosecutors in Chicago filed partially redacted documents overnight in the "Broadview Six" case. The redactions appear to include the signature block (including the name) of one of the attorneys representing the United States government:
A partially redacted motion to seal a petition for order authorizing disclosure. One signature block on the document belongs to Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Walsh. The other signature block is redacted. The concluding page of a document in which "the United States respectfully requests that the court authorizes the disclosure of the unredacted Oct. 9, 16, 23 transcripts and related exhibits." The rest of the sentence is redacted.

One signature block belongs to Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Walsh. The other is redacted.

In 2022, planetary geologist & NASA astronaut Dr. Jessica Watkins became the first Black woman to serve on a long-duration International Space Station mission. She spent 170 days in orbit executing vital medical, biological, and physical sciences experiments. #WorldSpaceWeek🚀 #WomenInSTEM
An official NASA portait of planetary geologist and history-making NASA astronau,Dr. Jessica Watkins. She smiles warmly in a formal portrait, exuding a focused and joyous mood. Captured from the waist up against a deep blue background, she is framed by the American flag on the left and the NASA logo flag on the right. Dr. Watkins is posed leaning forward slightly, her hands calmly resting on a dark surface in the foreground, showcasing her short, natural hair, gold hoop earrings, and open, vibrant expression. She wears a crisp, royal blue NASA flight suit adorned with official insignia: the iconic round NASA patch on her right chest, a rectangular blue nametag reading "JESSICA WATKINS" with the astronaut symbol on her left chest, and an American flag patch on her upper left arm. This balanced, professional composition honors her historic milestone as the first Black woman to serve on a long-duration International Space Station mission and command an orbital spaceflight.
