It's fuss for a reason. Snacks out, refreshments out. Enjoy!

I really enjoy dispassionately countering troll comments on left-leaning MP and local media Fb accounts with questions, using dialect or UK English words, or just absolutely plain facts, which drives them crazy. Yes readers, I am the Yorkshire Colin Robinson and I'm not sorry.

As long as you watch from episode 1 of a new series, I think you can just hurtle in with no tips, and I quite envy you being able to watch it as a newbie. I hope you enjoy it!

Absolutely stunning, no wonder you're chuffed to bits. Well done @gailmyerscough.co.uk ! 😍

Some of the vinyl I used to DJ off is shameful. One of my copies of Bela Lugosi released stale snakebite and cigarette smoke when I put it through the cleaning bath! Most of my own taste stuff I played once to tape it so that's mint, some covers suffered many house moves.

Your Howard Devoto cover looks in far better nick than mine too. 😆

Any time is a good time to join a union!

Loved the adverts but hated the product 😊

This! Just as long as I don't have to eat smash or tinned prunes and they bring back the BBC2 Horror Double Bills.

Covering the time when it was all Fields ... of the Nephilim?

What? They were weren't they? *boggle*

As I can't post on the thread, I'm just here to show off my copy. Look at the patination on that!

A copy of Public Image Limited's Metal Box showing mottled silver and dark grey patches.

I had plans for a thing there and no idea where to go now where it might be okay.

I looked so bad that a friend who worked one of the stalls gave me a clip-in fringe before I DJed on the Sunday night. The shame!

I was a Labour Party member and activist for 37 years and left in 2020. I watched Burnham's speech and genuinely welled up and felt hope. also, the fact it wasn't a lectern/podium autocue effort was so positive.

I'm dividing my fascination between the Man City thing and the Sir Ranulph thing.

Happy birthday youngster! 🎂🥂

Oh I am shuddering remembering the time my then hairdresser persuaded me to go radical with my manga hairs just a week before Whitby Goth Weekend. Rose, it was the full Dave Hill fringe ..... AND A PROFESSIONAL DID IT! *cries* *fistbump*

I have three ideas for @skullsandsheets.bsky.social annual Mari Lwyd charity auction, and the one that's most easily translatable into a postcard-size artwork has the most awful puns and daftness that I have to make it work, even though it might be a comedy crime!

Labour falls into this same trap on immigration. "We have our own solution to the immigration problem", rather than rejecting the assertion that it's a problem in the first place.

On a radio interview, one of the people evacuated said "I wasn't going anywhere until I'd made sure my cat had plenty of food." I thought that was so thoughtful.

My favourite Bowie is Lodger/Monsters but my close second is Outside/Earthling. That video is quite something - can't remember seeing it before! 👍

I'm the same but think it might be down to it sounding like and American version of Knock And Run!

Solidarity with the 🇮🇪 players who do not want to play against Israel. Absolutely shameful the FAI has put them in that position.

Read the book first but it was one of those TV versions which nails it.

Well I'd say They Are Not So True but that's because it reminds me of post-Stan Wall Of Voodoo.

My beloved isn't invested in it and we had to watch C4 live because of our smart telly not being supported by C4 on catch-up. I admit I'm hesitating to watch the last of the two.

I have it on vinyl and CD, absolute banger from JGT.

She is trying to appease these idiots who don't seem to want refugees detained as a result of being intercepted but can't grasp that they'd be undocumented if they weren't.

Screenshot from X of two far right accounts accusing Border Foce and the RNLI of engaging in illegal activity and treason for rescuing and detaining people in small boats.

Tiffany Cross: Make It Make Sense

So, the Far Right nonce bonnets threaten the RNLI and Border Force for being a 'taxi service' for small boat refugees brought ashore to be processed. Home Sec announces 2 unintercepted landings need urgent review rather than the threats and intimidation of said services that may be a cause.
