Trump is too much of a snob to be flashing such a middle-management brand of menswear without a reason. Jos. A. Bank is owned by Tailored Brands. Tailored Brands publicly filed a registration statement for a U.S. initial public offering on July 13, 2026. What are the chances Donald got a kickback?

Trump historically wore Brioni, an Italian luxury company that makes suits in Italy. Here he flashes a Jos. A Bank label, a US company that long offshored its production to China and Bangladesh. They carry an associated label called Joseph Abboud, which is made in US. Curious he didn't choose that.
Donald Trump in a navy suit. He's opening the jacket, so you can see the label. A close up of the suit label says Jos. A. Bank.

I LOVE how @propublica.org dealt with official comment here, editorially and stylistically.
The Trump administration says none of this is happening.

"DHS is NOT arresting U.S. citizens by mistake." "There are no 'indiscriminate' stops." Allegations of "racial profiling are disgusting, reckless and categorically FALSE." "The pattern is NOT of law enforcement using force." "ICE does not zip tie or restrain children."

But that is precisely what is happening, and at a far larger scale than previously reported.

What is the IceCube neutrino observatory? Neutrinos are elusive particles that rarely interact, but can create flashes of light when they do. Most neutrino detectors are giant water tanks surrounded by light detectors. IceCube is kilometer-long strings of detectors embedded in the Antarctic ice.

Beijing is phasing out generous ‌export tax rebates for batteries and solar products. Extending that to electric vehicles could help to reduce tensions with Brussels. Carmakers' profit margins would shrink but big brands like $102 bln BYD can pass on costs to customers.
