Right after The Big Lebowski came out, Thomas Kinkade and I were bowling like normal, except now he wanted me to call him “The Dude.” My only issue was that he kept saying Walter’s lines because he liked the profanity. I’d had enough of it and told him so. “Eight year olds,” he laughed. I miss him.

I’ll never forget the time Thomas Kinkade and I drove 12 hours to see a live taping of Wheel of Fortune. He disappeared into Sajak’s dressing room once we got there and came out a few minutes later laughing his head off. “I shit in his shoes,” he choked. Turns out, Pat owed Tom money. I miss him.
