I had to drop my car for servicing at the dealership today, and while they worked on it, I worked to a local restaurant and ate lunch. When I returned to pick it up, the guy asked "Are you from out of town?" and my answer was "No, I just left to go get lunch" like that explains anything.

i was so afraid that Absolute Superman would be super edgy and dark and we'd just have an anti-hero Superman, but he's not that. He's very much still Superman, but in a darker world. Just like always, Superman is the brightly shining beacon in the darkness.

I love how much time Absolute Superman spends on Clark reforming supervillains and helping them heal. He's not just punching heads off and throwing them into black holes. He hugs them, listens to them, reads them poetry, enrolls them in addiction treatment and has faith that they can change.

I feel like VR not being the future of console gaming was fairly obvious from the outset. It was always going to be a cool novelty for a small group of players, for so many reasons. The fact that anyone was crashing out in your replies is wild to me.

I'm not sure if I'll even recruit more than 2-3 ppl per route. And that's just to plug holes in my roster. Purely pragmatic, stat based decisions. The most interesting characters in the game are already in my roster.

Just discovered that the map menu in Fortune's Weave has a tab that just lists every recruitable and non-recruitable character and lets your warp right to them. I wish the game had pointed that out to me. It even lists their recruit reqs in the menu!

For @aftermath.site: I had a borderline religious experience playing Titanfall 2 VR, a fantastic and still improving conversion of an already perfect game. It is one of the most moving single experiences I've had in VR since Half-Life: Alyx
