Summary:

Ed stood, transfixed, staring at the projection. He gasped as the android turned its head to look at him, smiled, and held out the rose. Ed almost reached forward to take the flower, as big as he was, before it was withdrawn and the android looked to the side again and resumed its original position. Ed shook his head. For a moment he had thought it really was looking at him, like there might have been some kind of connection, before he remembered it was merely another intrusive advertisement for the highest echelons of society.

Stede, a bot belonging to Bonnet Corp, has been pulled from the front line of a never ending war after thirty years to be used as a propaganda machine.

Ed is entranced a beautiful person, and uncovers a plot by Bonnet Corp to have him assassinated to bolster their war fundraising.

Together, Stede and Ed will uncover something far more sinister and work to free the hold Bonnet Corp has over the planet.

This show has infected my brain and refused to let go. There is something so deeply personal to me about how sometimes Alex just comes across as a little bug who’s been pinned. I hope this artwork captures some of that energy. #Taskmaster #TaskmasterUK #TaskmasterFanart

It is a drawing in a comic book style of little Alex Horne from taskmaster pinned to a frame. There is a hand coming from off screen, holding a pin to be stuck in his clothing. The background is simple, red and purple spots. It is all on top of a desk that is covered in pins and papers.

Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today. I'm so angry.

Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales
Husband of Jonathan Joss

My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.

Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.

When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.

While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.

Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.

Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.

He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.

I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.

To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.

My focus now is on protecting Jonathan’s legacy and honoring the life we built together.

If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband.

Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built.

Tristan Kern de Gonzales

My Samus redesign with the Giger slider cranked waaay up.

Closeup of Samus in her Zero Suit which is fused to her skin.

Samus with her Varia Suit, Zero Suit, and transparent Varia Suit to showcase details of how it fits her. Also yes she has a missing hand because I think that both fits into a cannon better and is just cooler.

Here’s one of my older pieces and first of many illustration style embroidered works! It’s thanks to this little guy that I got into my first zine with embroidery. Now the rest is history! #art #embroidery #pokemon #hisuiantyphlosion #textileart

A circular cropped hand embroidered fanart of the hisuian form of the pokemon typhlosion with it’s purple flames flaring around while surrounded by a dark forest.

Same image but at an angle and a much closer shot of the typhlosion to show the details in the stitching.

the best feeling is finding a fic so good it makes you open the author's ao3 only to find a bunch of equally good but slightly different works that will feed you for days

ok Don Quixote is WAY undersold. you hear "first modern novel" and it's like "uh-huh" but this is an unhinged man, a true monty python character, going around in cardboard knight cosplay "armor" doing a LARP he thinks is real, anyone who can do do more than stare is going "please leave sir"
