When I turned 18 I suddenly became nostalgic for old NES games and bought a GBC just for the retro ports. My kid turned 18 and suddenly he’s a massive Pokemon fan again. We’ve played SV, SnS, ZA and Pokopia over the last six months like it was a drug of choice.

Taking a mental health day. On a positive note, those Hasbro Legend of Zelda figures are coming out 6 months earlier than expected when I placed a preorder.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Tim Curry and I think there’s an interesting contrast and comparison to Vincent Price. Both were EVERYWHERE from the moment I was born - Price in commercials and self-referential cameos. Tim in tv shows and playing villains or sidekicks to villains in films.
