Trump doesn’t force people to do bad things. All he did was show people they could get away with being horrible if they really wanted to, and a lot of powerful people decided they didn’t need to pretend anymore. Especially those in influential positions who could push back but did not.

Using AI at work for spec-driven development (SDD) feels like using the One Ring from Lord of the Rings; first, you're using it to hide from orcs, but then, you end up using it avoid awkward social situations and also it corrupts your soul.

remember the conservative plan for schools: 1) elite secular academies for the wealthy, 2) religious instruction to brainwash the middle class and 3) a prison-like rump public school system to discipline the lower classes into mindless servitude

Birthright citizenship is going to be the new Roe v Wade in the sense that Democrats need to win more elections than they lose in perpetuity to protect it, because Republicans are not making the mistake of appointing another Justice who will uphold it, ever

without birthright citizenship in the united states, you don't have a democracy and you don't have rule of law. revoking birthright citizenship gives fascists free rein to purge the country of literally anyone they don't like. it opens the door to atrocities and mass murder. i am not exaggerating.

It’s still not too late to start wearing a mask. Covid is surging. Hundreds of kids are in quarantine for measles. Public health has been gutted and healthcare is on the chopping block. A well fitted respirator protects you and those around you. You’ll get sick less & make public spaces safer!

"During the encounter, Greeley said they told her she 'doesn’t look like' a Greeley." www.yahoo.com/news/article...
Chicago Tribune: Greeley, who was born at Illinois Masonic hospital and is adopted, carries a copy of her passport just in case she runs into federal agents.

“I am Latina and I am a service worker,” Greeley said. “I fit the description of what they’re looking for now.”

During the encounter, Greeley said they told her she “doesn’t look like” a Greeley.

“They said this isn’t real, they kept telling me I’m lying, I’m a liar,” Greeley recalled. “I told them to look in the rest of my wallet, I have my credit cards, my insurance.”

You’re much closer to becoming disabled or homeless than you are to becoming rich and wealthy. It’s not a moral failing. It’s not something you can “try harder” your way out of. We need robust social supports & safety nets to ensure everyone is properly cared for.

As someone who has some things set in Italian, I had to try this out. I asked in Italian how many b's are in the Italian word for "blueberry" ("mirtillo"), and it correctly said zero. However, I asked in Italian how many b's are in the English word for "blueberry", and it said 3.
ChatGPT Output for two questions asked
- The first question asked in Italian is "How many b's are in the word blueberry?" but the question concerns Italian word for blueberry
- The second question also asked in Italian is the same but for the English word for blueberry
