Her "immigration status" is that she's been a US citizen longer than either Melania Trump or Elon Musk. The Democrats SHOULD use this opportunity for 100% solidarity with one of their own, and throw the fucking kitchen sink at Trump and his Republicans. I doubt they will but would LOVE to be wrong.

Musk says he didn’t cut services to thwart Ukrainian self-defense, the US govt did. A senior US official says the Trump White House had nothing to do with that, implying Musk did it. A problem is they’re both serial liars, Putin sympathizers, and anti-democracy, so who knows.

In Ohio, some Trump voters question whether he’s still fighting for them
High costs have opened a divide between Trump, who spoke in Ohio on Monday night, and some who voted for him. His support for data centers has widened that gap.

On the continuing Republicans-trying-to-start-a-race-war theme, who's the "they" who Blakeman envisions raping the Hasidic women?
Mr. Blakeman praised the close-knit nature of the community but sounded an ominous note. “If there is rioting here, if they’re burning down the yeshivas and your shuls, and burning down your house and raping your women, you think Zohran Mamdani is going to stop them?” he said in the meeting, according to audio excerpts obtained by The New York Times, which have not previously been reported.

Political violence is a serious issue. But it’s not a “both sides” issue. The leaders of the Democratic Party do not call for violence, do not elevate violent supporters, do not pardon violent thugs who attack our seat of government and our elections. America is under threat from the right.

Instead of shying away from the values of democracy, pluralism, and rights—as many consultants and pundits urge—Ossoff asserts those values. Look at what he’s gotten so much praise for: calling a white nationalist a “white nationalist” and treating that as bad. As a reason to vote against someone.

This afternoon in Marble Hill, a New Yorker was shot by an ICE agent in a residential neighborhood. Early reports indicate agents surrounded him and a 5-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds. We believe the child was physically unharmed.

This is an unconscionable and incredibly serious situation. I have called the President; when we speak I will demand that he ends all ICE enforcement actions in our city. I will not stand by while ICE agents terrorize our communities.

Our thoughts are with the injured New Yorker and his family tonight. We are praying for his recovery.

Get ICE out of our neighborhoods. Get ICE out of our hospitals. Get ICE off our streets. Get ICE away from our children.

Abolish ICE.
