It is very interesting that the Mail’s story on Michael Gove’s recent ex-girlfriend being charged with CSAM offences has been memoryholed two days after it was published. Public records show she appeared at Oxford Combined Court centre on September 30 and pleaded not guilty.

There’s no obvious reason why that story would have been pulled. Interesting too that the Mail’s diary story on Gove and Salem splitting appeared three days after her court appearance. Almost like someone resembling Michael Gove wearing a fake moustache sent in that tip.

Yes, it was nice early this morning (which I took full advantage of) and has been mizzling down solidly ever since! I like it, the place needs a long slow soaking.

Ooh, what happens if you write "protect the dolls" on the petals of a poppy? Does that create a BBC acceptability singularity?

In the process of doing this I met a very large yellow marsh frog. What a delightful little chap! Quite slow, due to the cold weather, but eager to avoid the massive hot-blooded ape that was rootling around in his garden. I left the weeds in his area. Good cover.

Planted mum's ridiculously successful osteospermums out this morning, in time to take advantage of today's rain, & hopefully get their roots established before winter. They go through the winter outside quite happily, here. By next spring they will be lovely sturdy plants. #gardening

Yes, it's joyful, and I'm *reasonably* confident that this was enough of a wake-up call (and the fallout sufficiently difficult to manage), that it should be addressed. I actually do have a reasonable amount of confidence in our leadership. Which is a novel sensation, after being a Labour member.

I'm not sure I'd describe myself as relaxed about it, tbh... ;) But I do have *some* degree of trust that this issue will be being explored at the top of the party, as there seem to be plenty of strong feelings.

Well ... in fairness it's one motion. I'm not a fan of it as you know, but it doesn't (at this point) give any indication of being the bow-wave of a series of big changes. We get notification of new motions well in advance of conf, so if it IS sthing like that, we'll see it coming.

I was recently informed by a musician friend that the BBC have, in fact, not only banned slogans on their entertainment shows, but also flags, *and* have also recently banned people from wearing colours that might be reasonable "construed" as representing a flag. So no you probably can't wear this.

It has quite often seemed like many proponents of biopsychosocial approaches like GET and graded activity-oriented CBT didn’t want much biomedical research, particularly the type that would challenge their theories e.g. Royal Colleges report on CFS. Not very admirable. #MEcfs #PwME #CFS
