Litter is a bugbear of mine. I can't get my head around why someone would think it's OK to drop their rubbish. I set off to find out if the council's outsourced environmental enforcement was making a difference. Turns out there was a lot more going on. manchestermill.co.uk/fixed-penalt...

This is a good read. We have similar company in Liverpool and people have been collared by lurkers wearing body cams. Litter is a big problem and needs to be dealt with, somehow. Is this the right way?

Late last week, the leader of Reform UK Oldham told the Local Democracy Reporting Scheme that rumours he was stepping aside were “silly allegations”. Five days later, he was gone. I tried contacting all 16 of their councillors, no one would talk to me. (1/4)
