You Will Get Paradise Killer. It's still Five Literal Dollars. You will get the 9 hour free roam mystery game starring a wide bisexual woman who kicks Complete Ass and has a lot of personal problems. It owns. Use the footbaths, trust me. It has COLLECTABLES. it has SHINJI. You'll like Shinji.

Art of Shinji from Paradise Killer, by Kaizengames, art for this design done by Gigalithic. Shinji is a blue humanoid with four arms, a vaugely deer like muzzle, and an otherwise rectangular head. He has four arms, all of which are busy symmetrically flipping you off American and Brit style. He's also squatting so deeply that whatever he has going on down there is censored by a somewhat odd shocked emoji face with three X's for eyes.

Steam Fall sale is ON! Too brain tired after Nighthawks launch to do a proper marketing for this right now. In the meantime, I will have blind faith that public desire for our games transcendes the need for me to tell everyone to buy them. There. Nailed it. store.steampowered.com/developer/Wa...

i'm not the only member of the team with editorial duties, but one of the best parts of my job is getting to work with so many different spectacularly talented external writers (and introducing them, with apologies, to our horrible lore iceberg). a huge treat

Every month Failbetter invites a guest writer from the wider world of games and fiction to contribute a subscriber story. They’re brave and weird and funny and choice-driven and perhaps they could become a welcome part of your routine too. www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/fa...

Fallen London is where the writers of Baldur's Gate 3, Dishonored and Stellaris come to let their hair down

These interactive short stories are too bold and surprising to stay secret.

120. Kith & Kindling by @thebarse.bsky.social A blazing forested depthcrawl for Cairn 2e 🔥 Dark, warm art direction & very dense with a number of interesting & flavorful roll tables. Not quite science-fantasy, but definitely adjacent with its otherworldly story & unnatural nature. A top-tier entry

the quiet year is one of those games that blew up my understanding of how tabletop narratives work, and has served as the foundation to many of the stories i have gone on to tell. even if we start a campaign without the quiet year, part of me is always referencing the principles contained within.

The Linguist turns the plaque toward the audience; its lines glisten red. Has the room grown darker? You feel the terrifying thrill of plunging into one of London's darkest alleys alone. Someone screams. September's Exceptional Story is The Poetry of God, by @cyborgurl.bsky.social.

A woman with a jaunty red beret, tiny pince nez glasses, and an air about her that she might just do whatever she wants. She's wearing a grey suit with a pussybow blouse and grey gloves, and she's using a wheelchair with a high leather back.

Look for us at gamescom! You won't see rhubarb finer than this.

The Mandrake desk at gamescom. Key art of a figure in a hooded cape carrying rhubarb and a sickle is behind the playing area/monitor. The rhubarb is luxurious and green. It continues onto the desktop and down the front of the table like a beautiful farmer's market display.

The Candlefinder Society return in Fallen London! The Urchin Detective has found herself a pet: The Unkempt Collie! The perfect companion for the diminutive sleuth. Provided, of course, that you can clear his name of the charges levelled against him by one of the city's haughtiest cats.

An unassuming pub on a darkened street, whose shingle is a candle shaped like a question mark. One window is large and bright, and by its light we see the silhouettes of the Candlefinder Society. One of them is clearly a tiger. Text reads: The Candlefinder Society, The Case of the Stolen Sceptre.
