One thing I wish people would realize is just how central JK Rowling is to the entire anti-trans ecosystem. Looking at a network node analysis of the top 200 anti-trans X accounts, she is the most central figure spanning both sides of the Atlantic from Republicans to Labour.
A network graph visualization on a dark background showing connections between various accounts. The central, highly connected node is labeled "J.K. Rowling," with lines radiating out to many other nodes color-coded by region (UK, US, etc.). A detail panel on the right displays stats for her account, including her role as "Author & commentator," an in-degree of 153, an out-degree of 84, and 14 million followers.A scatter plot graph on a dark background comparing accounts based on "followers (log)" on the x-axis and "in-degree" on the y-axis. The data points are color-coded by region. J.K. Rowling is highlighted as a major outlier in the top right corner, possessing the highest number of followers and the highest in-degree. Other labeled points lower on the graph include various politicians, individuals, and campaign organizations.

I didn’t know of Prof Jason Arday until the pile-on. His face was kind, beautiful, and sensitive I thought. I hope that his death brings some good, maybe a realisation of the harm that racism can do. And that many of his bullies are prominent transphobes, who should never be heard from again.

What people are beginning to realise, if they did not know already, is that Rowling is financing the whole UK "gender critical" network. It is a project she is willing to invest millions in. If there were any real journalism in this country, it would be investigated and exposed.

ACTION THIS DAY… Please email @amnestyuk.bsky.social to give them your support for the list of anti-trans organizations, which they are felt under pressure to withdraw… Email: feedback@amnesty.org.uk Here are my thoughts…
Anti-trans rights list
Dear Amnesty International UK, las a trans-woman am a member of the trans community and am deeply troubled that you have seen fit under pressure to withdraw your list of anti-trans organizations. I understand that you will have felt pressure, probably financial pressure, to do so given the deep pockets and litigious
nature of the "Gender Critical" movement. However, I would point out that the trans community in the UK is under an actual genocide warning from the Lemkin Institute. For a human rights organization to fold under pressure as you have done is to follow the precedent set by civil society institutions under the third reich. You will of course understand where that ended up for the persecuted minorities under the Nazis. It is worth pointing out that the LGBTQI+ community was
persecuted first by this monstrous regime, trans people especially. I would urge you to have courage in the face if this pressure and to stand up for your principles so that a more just society can rise once more from
above the forces of darkness which are swirling around us. Trans people will only of course be the first... Remember the poem by
Martin Niemoller.
Best Regards

STATEMENT FROM THE ANNE FRANK TRUST UK… www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=... will be of interest to @jolyon.goodlawproject.org, @jessothomson.co.uk
The Anne Frank Trust UK is deeply concerned by comments made on GB News this weekend during a segment discussing London Pride, in which a guest claimed that Pride celebrates and welcomes paedophilia and bestiality alongside LGBTQ+ identities. These claims are false, harmful and promote stereotypes which are deeply dehumanising, and
should never be given a national platform. At the Anne Frank Trust UK, we educate young people to understand the causes and consequences of prejudice, and equip them with the knowledge, empathy and confidence to recognise and challenge discrimination in all its forms. Language that stereotypes, vilifies or dehumanises any group risks fuelling prejudice and undermining the
dignity that everyone deserves. We stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ communities and with every young
person who heard these words and felt less safe as a result. We call on GB News to take responsibility for the content it broadcasts
and to uphold its obligations under Ofcom's Broadcasting Code.

FOI reveals the EHRC holds zero minutes of meetings with trans-led organisations in the past 5 years. This is the UK’s 'equality' regulator. Trans voices are not important enough for the EHRC to keep a record of what was said. This should be a headline in all the papers.

Equality and Human Rights Commission
Dear
Your Freedom of Information Request
FOI Reference: 15238932
Date: 16 February 2026
Thank you for your request, detailed below, which we received on 19 January 2026.
"1) Does the EHRC hold minutes for meetings with any trans-led or trans- focused groups (excluding general LGBTQI+ groups) in the last 5 years.
For clarity, these could include but are not limited to:
- TransActual
- Translucent/Steph's Place
- Scottish Trans
- Trans legal project
- Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective
- Trans Safety Network
- Trans Solidarity Alliance
- Trans Resistance Network
- Trans Exile Network
If so, could you
a) break down how many sets of minutes were recorded per year. (Here 1 "set of minutes" means "minutes for 1 meeting") And
b) name which trans-led or trans-focused organisation these are with." This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Response
Following a search of our records, we have determined that the information you have requested is not held by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
While the Commission regularly engages with a wide range of stakeholders, including trans-led and trans-focussed civil society organisations where relevant to our work, we do not hold any formal minutes of meetings with the organisations listed in your request within the timeframe specified.
