Hot take: MapQuest just isn't that great of a product. Gave it a whirl over a long weekend. Stale data, no bike lane layer, no searching along routes for gas stations. Would love for it to get better, but it's currently the "Is Pepsi okay?" of maps.

It's me, the homeowner whose project was delayed for months because Xcel is under-resourced to do the work that they need to do. This is one more reason Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs) earn such a negative opinion. I'm glad the Denver Post is shining a light on it.
