Which is what led me to develop two heuristics to cut the length down: 1) Is it put on there by Advance Colorado? Automatic No. 2) Is this something I, as a citizen, actually need to be voting on myself, rather than letting the legislature do their job? Automatic "No" if it doesn't clear that hurdle

My first ballot discussion party is tomorrow. My next one is the Sunday after. The length of the ballot is definitely part of why I'm behind the ball this year.

Art Deco. Not, like, all of it, but a nice little pocket of it in the world. A remodeled condo (including stuff like silverware and glasses!) + tailored wardrobe + a jazz record collection.

The Dodgers are Good, because they pay labor. Ohtani is a legendary talent, and it's better that he's on a team that's willing to pay for that, rather than languishing on the Angels. Doesn't mean they're the good guys though.

I'm also on team Infill as reducing net electricity need. The faster+cheaper we make it possible to take advantage of 100 years of building science, the more people can reap the benefits of modern construction techniques. This is maybe also on the timeline of building out transmission though.

Efficiency is naturally in the mix, and not just insulation. Capital replacement support for modernizing commercial or multi-unit residential buildings has high ROI. There are a lot of old boilers which need replaced, at great cost, but with great benefits.

It's all yes-and, but: I'm professionally invested in Flexibility, so, I have to say that. "Speeding up" is still somewhat elusive, but, it does have fewer constraints than solving for transmission. Measuring implementation time in "few years" rather than "decades" is a drastic improvement!

missed National Coming Out Day. but came across this screenshot of the mass email i sent 12 years ago!
mass email from me when i transitioned. the body of the email reads-
"about 15 years ago i sent out a mass email stating that i had used the Troy Aikman quarterback rating system to decide that the right choice was to switch email providers from Aol to Comcast. using the same system i'm pleased to announce that the Troy Aikman quarterback ratings system has given me the clarity to go ahead and switch genders.
i'm available to anyone by phone that would like to crunch the numbers. thanks eveyrbody and sorry for the mass email! and thanks Troy Aikman!"

It's lovingly crafted. The humor is spot-on, and gives me some pavlovian responses (wait, I'm sending in police to beat up people saying "People over parking?". I'm one of those people!). I'm just so much not a gamer anymore, it'll take me a long time to work through it all.

This seems like the distribution is different enough that observing the realized results will actually be quite informative, if I'm reading this correctly?

Chris Wright is, among many other things, not dumb. I know a lot of people who work at Interior, and he might be the Secretary who has come in the furthest below expectations. Others might be worse, but he's racing towards the bottom.

Hot take: MapQuest just isn't that great of a product. Gave it a whirl over a long weekend. Stale data, no bike lane layer, no searching along routes for gas stations. Would love for it to get better, but it's currently the "Is Pepsi okay?" of maps.
