This may be of interest to the #NMIXX fans here. It's a nice showcase of the raw vocals they are capable of, especially *while performing choreo* www.reddit.com/r/NMIXX/comm...

It’s difficult to say why so many people love this, but the Jolf, a very popular flying machine by Volsky, has undeniably become a classic.

It's the first day of advance voting in Toronto and I just had the second campaign come knocking on the door. Given how busy advance voting was in my council ward, I suspect it's going to be a close campaign - go vote.

Never has a FIFA president affected the field of play as much as Infantino. In just one World Cup his organization has appeared to bend the rules for Cristiano Ronaldo, Folarin Balogun and as we found the DR Congo (where his close friend was appointed FA president) www.nytimes.com/2026/10/06/w...

FIFA Found Congo Player Ineligible, Let Him Play in World Cup (Gift Article)

Officials determined that a goalkeeper from the Democratic Republic of Congo did not have the correct paperwork, documents show. But no action was taken, renewing questions about FIFA’s governance.

I somehow missed this live version of NMIXX's Blue Valentine. And while it's not Tiny Desk levels of raw audio, there are some fun ad-libs in there. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dum...

I *think* thelocal.to did so in a previous election, but they don't appear to have done so this time round.

Nick Park spent the '80s making A Grand Day Out mostly alone. It was a school project that got out of hand -- he wanted to quit many times. But Park stuck with it and fulfilled his dream of bringing a cinematic feel to stop motion. We explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/wallace-an...

This was a timely reminder that advance voting in Toronto starts tomorrow. It's nice that they've also got a chart for councillors, but trying to get info on school board trustees is much harder. I'm worried that's where the real whack jobs are.

Given that is a quote of an American, I should probably clarify that Gooners in this context refer to fans of Arsenal football club.

Can't believe I forgot the most important Arsenal birthday yesterday: The Arsenal FC. 140 years ago yesterday the members of the Dial Square Cricket Club discussed and agreed to form a football team.

This #K-Pop classic needs to be on this site. See alt-text for context. Adding these hashtags seems appropriate #Twice #momo 😁

Does City really have a banner that says "And on the sixth day God created Manchester City" at the Etihad? Because if so I'd like to ask that when they're relegated, they're sent straight to hell.

This should have been the lede: "Manchester City's spending power unquestionably changed the world football transfer market - their willingness to pay higher fees and wages meant prices rose for everybody else too." It's fans of other clubs who paid for those higher fees and wages.

Promoting NMIXX by putting them on an airliner is novel. But I bet there are some fans who are already scheming on how to get on one of those flights so they can get the unique photo cards.
