Google reviews once again giving us a giggle... thanks Colin. Obviously, a black lager, an amazing Warpigs pale ale, a Deya smoked s'mores imperial stout, a Tiramisu sour from the legendary Swedish brewery Elm Eleven or six amazing real ciders were just too 'standard' for him. 😂 Poor Colin.

Google review reads "Good choice of bottles but a bit boring on the draft as it's the same as everywhere else." with a photo of Dale's mind being blown.

Great session @thatbeerplace.co.uk in #Chester y'day. No fewer than 7(!) ciders & perries on offer. Tried them all, in thirds. Ranged from 'very drinkable' to 'bloody gorgeous'. Personal fave was the @rosscider.bsky.social s.v. Major (on the left in the pic), v. dry w. superb depth of flavour.
