Thrilled and honored to be a guest writer for the NSFW edition of the @finalfrontierzine.bsky.social ! Here's a sneak peek of my piece, I really was pushing the limits of my word count for this one. We're so close to hitting the final stretch goal so if you've been sitting on the fence, hop on over!

The thing in the bulb was awake.
A slow, silvery plume of bubbles rose up from the luminous depths of the vessel. They made a low sound, like a dream of drowning, and Wolfwood's throat closed around a scream before it could escape.
Something had emerged from the feathery ball, and it was looking at him with a pair of bright blue eyes.
Wolfwood's response was very practical, for a man serving a sentence for a crime he did not commit on an automated prison barge with no hope of escape or release.
He bolted.
Pure adrenaline hurled him back up the stairs, his feet barely touching the risers. He rounded the corner and flew down the gangway, certain that the thing was even now slithering out of its bulb and oozing after him. He did not stop until he smacked into the backside of the access hatch, and he hung onto the bars, coughing for air.
The months of cryosleep were not compatible with a 50-yard dash. Once he caught his breath, he would slip onto the other side of the passage, safe in the sterile white womb of his prison, and then things would... they would...
Well, they'd be exactly the same as they always had been, and always would be, wouldn't they?

FFXV Royal Edition is literally like I don't know her. That's not the game I played, the narrative I responded to with thousands of words.
