The loyalty of Starmer’s allies is admirable, and I understand the instinct to fight. But for the good of the country, and the Labour party, Starmer should stand aside for Burnham. A bloody coup benefits no-one, yet the outcome is already guaranteed. It’s time for change. The country knows it.
