It's very funny that back in 2023 there was an Onimusha anime that: Starred Musashi Miyamoto whose design was inspired by Toshiro Mifune and was directed by Takeshi fucking Miike ...but it was really bad. At that time the new Onimusha game had to have been a year or two into dev at least lmfao
