I sent 50 Christmas cards this year and it cost me $36.50 thanks to the USPS. Had I used flat rate shipping through FedEx it would’ve cost me $487.50 or if I chose to use UPS I’d be out $545. It’s impossible to convince me that privatizing the USPS would benefit the country.

I went to a pop-up holiday market and this white lady selling hand made ceramic earrings was proudly displaying the political message left by an assassin on bullet casings after a successful murder so that’s a bit of a data point for Where Things Are
