People in Gary Indiana are on their 9th day with no power. A storm called a derecho hit hard in Northwest Indiana on August 11. Most of the (white) neighboring towns around Gary have gotten their power restored. Predominantly Black Gary has been hung out to dry. Let’s help raise the alarm.

People who grew up in the 2000s all undoubtedly love something Hayden Panettiere was in. You really cannot understate the huge presence she held in media. Hell, three of my favorite pieces of art have Hayden in them. (Heroes, Kingdom Hearts, Until Dawn) What a loss.
