Honestly refreshing to see a recomp clearly stating this. Go check it out, tbh

I am cautious about sharing Dreadlock stuff because I'm waiting for the eventual revealing of "Oh yeah, AI was used on some of the concept art buuuut we drew over it so it's okay. Sowwy we didn't say anything at the start orz" I'm jaded about any shooter game that isn't Splatoon.

I’m having a sale on blade pens and so I drew a demon with one and filmed it and then edited the drawing together with some music I made into a video. Use the code TENTENTEN to get 10% off thingsbydan.myshopify.com

Feeling a bit guilty for enjoying an empty house for the past 2 days. The whole health situation with my dad had made me coop myself up in my room 'cause he already looks like he has one foot in the grave and his mind's nearly gone. He's at the hospital right now.

I'm very glad I have a job to distract me this time around from family health problems. Not much I can do other than going "Well that sucks" but I also don't wanna babysit. I got work to go to and dogs to take care of.

Rewatching Kill-La-Kill after like a decade, and my favorite episode has not changed

Illustration of Mako Mankashoku from the Kill-La-Kill series, in her Fight Club President uniform. She's looking in the distance with a serious look on her face and covered in bruises, and her nose is bleeding. There's implied biker flags in the background

I think the trickiest part of drawing horse characters is the head angle. Breaking out of the habit of drawing animals like canines who hold their head more horizontally vs the 45 degree angle horses hold their head.

i for one love it when manga artists painstakingly re-create arcade video games solely for their own satisfaction (aki by oosaki mitsuru, bio manga of aki and rumi nikaido)

Closing comms has let me return to art as a fun hobby and explore new mediums and learn without the worry of "Agh, how do I turn this into something people want to buy?? I need to draw fanart of the latest popular character to get eyes on my work! Can't spend time drawing my fav chars/ships!"

I should make Vodka and Scarlet 3D horse head models as my next adventure in Blockbench. That way I also have a 3D horsehead to spin around to draw in different angles!

I've toyed around with Blockbench. Haven't tried doing any animation since I'm a super noob at it. But pixel art and low poly 3d models is an art form I really want to get into.
