Damn... Since I actually got that $7 glass pen to work from a scratchy F to a nice near B, now I want the Diamine Inkvent calendar even more since I was gonna use it to test the swatches with for quick writing.

It feels unfair comparing it to the Kakimori brass nib because it's 7x's as expensive and made of more durable metal. But the Kakimori is really nice. A shame some people only buy it for ink swatching. Bro, don't use a $50 for only swatching, write/draw with it! I use it for fast gesture drawing.

Alrighty! Done sanding my $7 glass dip pen! You can see how it started as an okay M nib that could use a bit of sanding with 2000grit. It got wobbly in the burgundy bc the nib was loose. Glued it in and polished it. Nice nearly B size, smooth, doesnt last long. #fountainPen #dipPen

I think the trickiest part of drawing horse characters is the head angle. Breaking out of the habit of drawing animals like canines who hold their head more horizontally vs the 45 degree angle horses hold their head.

I've toyed around with Blockbench. Haven't tried doing any animation since I'm a super noob at it. But pixel art and low poly 3d models is an art form I really want to get into.

Tonight I found out that my plastic piette doesn't fit in the tiny opening of a Faber-Castell converter so I made a bit of a mess. Ink- Sailor Manyo Kuzu It's a very dark burgundy color with slight shading. It's suppose to have a green sheen but it doesn't show for me. #fountainPen

Also find it amusing that the Silver Hawk's design has pretty much stayed the same until they made 4 variants in Dariusburst. Vic Viper's had gradual changes in the Gradius series.

I'm so shmup pilled that when someone shows a character named Darius, I'm disappointed that it's not a giant robot fish being shot at by a tiny white and red space ship. It doesn't matter that it's from a furry artist, I always expect to see the arcade game.

Something like this. I've set up the wires and board for an arcade stick before. It's super basic, no soldering required. Sure the box won't be pretty since it'd be just 3D printed plastic but no one's looking at my stick.

Hyper Duel is so much fun! It's hard to show in still shots but got a nice built in auto fire for a stream of shots. You have a ship or mech shot, stages are short, bosses explode in awesome ways, 3 chars to play Not too difficult, highly recc to newbies for horizontal shmups. #stg #shmup #arcade

Brooo nowhere sells Nissin Raoh ramen. I'm gonna have to find a new fav by trying out a buncha ramen at the asian mart because the usual places never carry Maruchan pork flavor. There's no pork flavor in ANY of the ramens they carry.

Tsuki-yo has some red sheening on the edges for fancy glossy paper but it won't show up on the regular papers I actually use. The paper in the Iroful is way too sensitive to oils in my hand for me to do anything in it.

I got a mainstay in most fountain pen ink collections, a Pilot Iroshizuku! I got Tsuki-yo because it's the same dark blue teal of my dogsona. I love it Pics don't really show the colors well but it's lighter than Diamine Oxford Blue. The Ox Blue gets nearly black with how dark it is. #fountainPen
