The way a bsky community outright threatened Jesse Singal on here and were never banned even temporarily by the @safety.bsky.app is troubling. Tankies and some TRAs have lost their minds. Democrats need to unequivocally move away from these fringe groups.

One thing I feel very strongly about w/r/t Bluesky is that the additional blocking features are a good thing -- but those same blocking features mean that banning people from the site is *less* important. If you don't like someone, just block them. Problem solved!

So in rural India, in a university campus where my father was a professor, his Head of the Department was Dr. Alexander. This was in the 1970s/80s. I was told that Uncle Alexander was a Syrian Christian. Now when I think of him my mind is blown! India truly is a melting pot 😊

I see a lot of posts praising themselves for getting Jesse Singal thrown out of Bluesky. The more I looked into the accusations against Singal none turned out to be true. This was a while ago. The left has difficulty with dissenting opinions/research and thus is illiberal.
