Fun fact for my tattoo moots: Sluggo’s rival here, Rollo Banks, is the origin of Mike Malone’s nickname. When he was first tattooing in NYC he went to dinner with some friends and pulled out a big knot of cash from a busy weekend. His friend said “Look at you, Rollie Banks” & Mike kept it.

This carved stone plaque was found in St Francis' Row in Cashel, and it is believed to be the sign for a tavern that was known as The Cat & Bagpipes, that once stood on the main street. It may date to as early as the 16-17th century, and offers a glimpse of Cashel's social life from centuries ago

Rough for a tattoo that never got done- it was to be part of a full gun and holster belt around my client’s waist and going down her thigh

A pencil drawing of an elaborate leather gun holster with a Colt arms “Peacemaker” single action revolver that has a grip with a Spade card symbol on it. The pistol is resting in the holster. There are notes around the drawing about what colors I should use as well as things like “Longer! 6” barrel!” And “Case hardening? Challenge ++”
In the lower left corner is a very rough sketch of an old style cartridge that says “45 CC” which is the caliber of bullet that this pistol uses. The plan was to make the gun belt hold cartridges so I needed to get the scale correct.

Reaper and raven tattoo I did on my client last week

Tattoo on the back of a man’s calf of a grim reaper holding a red candle in his right hand and his scythe in his left. A black crow rests on his right shoulder, cawing. A flame rises from the candle to become a stream of purple smoke that snakes around the scythe and down its side to eventually go under the reaper to create a border.

Rollerball. I don’t remember HOW I got in but iirc my Mom and I lived in Aspen at the time which had a movie theater that used to be an old opera house. I saw many films that were questionable for a kid, including Logan’s Run, Walkabout, Fantastic Planet, etc…

The other day when I was leaving for work Harley and Maisy were in the hallway. Harley was SO MAD that I was in HIS hallway (his tail was fully poofed up)
