Quick reminder that the bubonic plague can be easily treated with modern antibiotics. There's a place in YNP where there are chipmunks that you get close to, and there's a sign there to tell you to be careful because you might get the plague. It never went away but is also kinda nbd on its own.

It's been such a long few years, I'd forgotten this particular rape accusation against Hegseth. The woman told police she may have been drugged. Hegseth, who was married to one woman and had just had a baby with another, said it was consensual but paid her $50k to settle. He was confirmed anyway.
