Yeah, there's a bad mental health week on the training plan right now

It's probably really good that I'm only truly happy when I'm writing a novel and training for a marathon and I am currently finished with all my novel projects and have a stress fracture in my pelvis.

I probably have a different perspective than most on the "why don't men read more" thing, which is that I believe masculine eyeballs are too powerful for the page; when a man concentrates very hard on a book his eyes burn literal holes into it, and this can actually be quite dangerous for bystanders

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

I think that one of the most important messages that candidates like Ossoff communicate when they openly condemn neo-Nazis and white supremacists is “I’m confident that I can win without the support of people who think I’m out of line here.”

The weird thing about Google search no longer being functional is that I get most of my information from Reddit now, which means I see stuff from really smart, helpful people and also stuff from absolute psychopaths in the same search.

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

I came up with some more inane bullshit for everyone to argue about!
(September 23, 2026 at 10:44am)
Fake opinions to argue over…
- Never turn left on a first date.
- Every kindergarten student should have an unpaid internship.
- The periodic table is too sexual.
- Bigfoot should be allowed to vote.
- Having a dream is the same as reading a book.
- You can wear a crop top to a funeral if the deceased person was hot when they died.

Do you think you could get 67 votes to convict and remove Trump if he killed and ate a Member of Congress? What if that Member of Congress was a Republican Senator, so the pool was one vote short to begin with? It’s a tough question.

One of the annoying things about trump as president is that anytime anyone in a position of power does something wrong, everyone can just be like "have you seen who's president???" and completely dismiss wrongdoing.
