Imagine posting something like this for the world to see and thinking it's perfectly normal.

This is my issue, too. Sheeran had all the cards here because he had a contract. But he still caved.

Didn't he tell her she had till a certain time to quit, or she'd be fired? I remember reading about it. They don't last. I still don't understand what Markwayne Mullins was thinking giving up a lifetime job I the senate to be in that cabinet. Not that I care, just saying.

This is disgraceful and why there should be no statue of limitations on rape prosecutions. Even more disappointing is how it appears from both articles that her own parents wanted to avoid this all and just accepted her lie. Of course, she was scared and traumatized. Why couldn't they see that?

I'm in PA, too, and Fetterman is still better than Dr. OZ. You know every republican will vote for Collins, so the Dems have to vote for the dem. Whichever wins.

1/ I recently wrote about Frances Perkins—FDR’s Labor Secretary and first woman cabinet member. She is best known as the architect of the New Deal but she had a lesser-known achievement: She dismantled her era’s version of ICE.🧵

There's still automation with filing and verification. The other issue is they have 10 years to assess and collect. Obviously, I get everything sucks in general right now.

Extensions are only for filing, not paying. So people would get fines if they don't pay on April 15th.

SCOOP — Pennsylvania prosecutors were alerted to possible voting irregularities by one of MAGA's leading voices against voter fraud. A long paper trail shows Jack Posobiec has been living in Maryland but voting using his parents' PA address for years. From @jsweetli.bsky.social, @slate.com + me:

Then why can't Dems do something like that? They act so lethargic about everything. Why not put up a fight to drum up some attention to this stuff?

taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 19/09/2025
I think I am giving her credit. She's planning on moving out one way or the other if she can.
000
taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 19/09/2025
But my point is... Why shouldn't she go for the senate when dems in the house have no interest in letting her move up. They obviously don't care to put the best people in. Pelosi personally called from her hospital bed to whip votes for a literal dying person beat her. It's pathetic.
100
taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 19/09/2025
But house dems literally picked a dying person over her just a few months ago for that job.

But if they worked nights and weekends to clear the backlog, then the administration just sees a clear backlog. Now they know that they could cut more because the people remaining will work nights and weekends to keep things running.

Oh, I think it's more because they want Trump off his ass too. They don't want Dems crushing the midterms.
020
taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 10/09/2025
The GOP will be. This is a question of is getting nothing from the gop for ACA subsidies is worth it to Dems.
010
taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 09/09/2025
We can't let the country get taken over by Nazis because Dems feel bad about cuts that the country knew was coming and the majority voted for. They had a written plan. It stated what they'd do, and cutting Medicaid was on it. So, was cutting ACA.
020
taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 09/09/2025
Ok, but I've seen more than one poll from election people on here that clearly show 50% of the people on Medicaid voted for Donald Trump.
000
taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 09/09/2025
Yeah, but that's on the GOP, not the dems. We had an election. This is the outcome.
230
taray.bsky.social @taray.bsky.social · 09/09/2025
I don't see it as a hard place to be. The GOP voted for these cuts, and it doesn't benefit the dems to save them from the consequences of that vote. If we keep cleaning up the GOP messes, low propensity voters will never see the downside of voting for them, and we all decend further into facism.

She would be 79 when she takes office. These aren't policy jobs right now. It's warfare. An 80 year old just can't do it. We know this because we're watching them all fail miserably right now.
