the real question is, what will he cut? he has to get the money for this from somewhere. I wouldn’t be surprised with Carney cutting federal jobs, social spending, and infrastructure spending. economists will always view the country like a corpo, but we need a proper country not a company.

the problem is the long-term capital investments themselves. we already have had problems with investors snatching up canadian homes and limiting canadian jobs through reliance on LMIA workers. this is DUE to capital investors, they will not fix our country.

basically they gave awarded a private company the contract to run the air traffic control, but the new company didn’t want to pay the previous controllers what they were getting paid before so they gave them a worse offer, the controllers denied and now there won’t be anyone conducting air traffic.

Lots of reporting suggested that, this time around, Trump and his lawyers would avoid the sloppy legal work that plagued his first administration so they’d fare better in the courts. I see no evidence of that in this round of executive orders. This is poor, slipshod work obviously assisted by AI.
