I swear to God. STOP YELLING AT MY FUCKING EMPLOYEES. They are children. This job, for most of them is their first. They are going to make mistakes. They aren't in charge of anything. This can all be fixed with a smile and a polite attitude. It's ice cream for crying out loud. Grow up and act your age.

Like god it's five vulture capital companies. That studio is either gonna sink like a rock or come up with a "game" so awful and predatory it'll make roblox look like a birthday party.

Yeah I work in video games where all these people have infected studios with this same horrible mindset. No one is player, they’re all consumers with wallets and your job is to get them to spend frequently and as much as possible. It’s miserable to work with.

A common gotcha on interviews is when they invite you to lunch which I have never fallen for. I turn them down and assert my seriousness for this position and that I will forgo lunch every day for the job.

Actually they can pass laws without a signature -- the house can override a president's veto. The psychotic redistricting has been less keeping control of the house and more making sure Trump isn't a total lame duck two years before his term ends.
