I-001 is being billed as a “parents rights” initiative. It would in fact require school workers to disclose things said to them in confidence - like sexual orientation - to parents. It’s invasive, anti-child rights, and has the potential to further any abuse children are getting at home

It's so shitty how much of the media coverage has focused on "the tiger will not be euthanized," and not on the victim, who also did nothing wrong. I don't know if there's a solution where he could have been kept safe. That's what safety reviews are for. But this is all a horrible tragedy.
