The crazy thing is that I actually have an idea on how to make a One Froggy Evening followup, and one with a happy ending to boot, WORK It involves, believe it or not, not totally rehashing the original short

I actually have an idea for a One Froggy Evening sequel OTHER than Another Froggy Evening. I call it One Froggy Morning.
- Instead of a mature UPA-esque cartoon for adults, this is more of a sweet cartoon for kids.
- The protagonist, instead of an opportunistic construction worker looking to strike it rich, is a shy young girl who likes music.
- The girl interprets Michigan's inability to sing in front of others as shyness similar to her own, and they quickly become friends.
- However, a greedy talent agent looking for a new act somehow finds Michigan singing when neither he nor the girl are paying attention, and gets an idea.
- While Michigan continues his "stop singing when someone else is watching" routine, the talent agent amasses a group of friends and papparazi- all of which can hear the singing, but not who it's coming from. And they're starting to think something's up.
- In the climactic moment, when the mob bursts through to get a listen in, Michigan stops singing once again- and the girl takes his place, turning out to be an EXCELLENT singer. However, she's still extremely shy, and after proving her point, she goes back to being bashful (pretending to not have noticed the crowd until now), and the others decide to leave and respect her privacy- even the rather disappointed talent agent.
- The cartoon ends with Michigan and the girl holding a duet.
