I was in Kitimat as LNG Canada and five First Nations signed a major equity option agreement: the opportunity to take majority ownership of the potential Phase 2 LNG storage tank, up to $1B. Across BC, renters are starting to see real relief:  • Asking rents are down 12.5% from 2023  • Vacancy rates are rising  • More options for renters, including ability to negotiate their rent • 26,000+ purpose-built rentals registered in 2025  Progress is underway, with more to do.

It was truly an honour to attend HMCS Discovery's Battle of the Atlantic Tribute Dinner. This evening was a powerful tribute to the sailors, merchant mariners, and aircrew who served with courage and sacrifice during the longest campaign of the Second World War (1939–1945).

B.C. is taking strong and coordinated action to curb gun violence, disrupt organized crime and keep communities safe. The Firearm Violence Prevention Act (FVPA) comes into force October 1, 2026 with regulations that close gaps in existing laws and give police stronger tools to go after criminals.
