My whole professional life there've been controversies over artists tracing someone else's art, plagiarism. My whole career I've dealt with the hideous theft of my work. Then some clown shoes billionaire tech bros come along and make a tech that literally CAN'T do what it does WITHOUT plagiarizing

A majority of the people that I work with are quite older than me & don’t know of the chronically online brain rot that I know. Earlier today I tried (with varying success) to explain to my coworkers what “mewing” & a “mew streak” is. I can’t wait to tell them about “Skibidi Rizz Ohio” next

If you see this, post some cat art! Not sure if the chimera counts, but like 1/3 of him is a lion & that is a type of big cat.. so I think it gets by through technicality

An all over pattern consisting of over 70 cartoon cats. You will find cats of all types and/or professions whether they be a chef, ghost or robot

Illustration of a baby chimera sitting on top of a rock formation. The wings were the hardest thing to draw, just trying to make them work with the composition & to look natural .. or as natural as a chimera can look

Pet portrait made of my sisters two cats. The black cat sits within a pumpkin while the tortie peeks out from behind him.

I didn’t have the energy to do much for the background when I first made this, so I decided to simply make something abstracted & blurred to get by with.

Posted this as part of a QRP trend & decided to also show the process shots as a main post. Crazy that 2024 is almost over! I am happy with the growth I've had as an artist & even if I sometimes cringe at my older work, I know those pieces were necessary for me to have made in order to grow.

Screenshots of an illustration at different points of progress. Each one is numbered 1 to 6, with 1 being the earliest point of progress & 6 being the closest point of finish.
1.) rough sketch, just generally getting the gist of the figure & expression. 2.) Laying down color & working in the background. 3.) The start of the refinement process 4.) The furthering of the refinement process started in 3. On a separate layer I begin working on the smoke detail. 5.) I begin to make anatomical adjustments that I overlooked prior - basically I finally flipped my canvas. 6.) I make further adjustments to the anatomy/perspective, such as moving the shoulder. I also continue working on the rendering & lighting.

This is the finished illustration. It is of Sailor Moon & it is a redraw of 2 previous redraws I have done - which the 1st one was done because of the Sailor Moon redraw challenge in 2020.

3 Illustrations of Sailor Moon that I have made; laid out with the year in which they were created shown on the top corner. Begins at 2020, with 2022 in the middle & then 2024.

QRP & Show me your art from 2020 to now! ✨Here is mine✨ I think its pretty obvious that over time my tastes have changed 😅 Here is to growing & improving even more in 2025! #art

A line up of 3 illustrations of Sailor Moon I created from 2020 to now, in 2024. In 2020, I decided to partake in the Sailor Moon Redraw challenge & ever since then I have taken it upon myself to redraw the redraw.

Close up of the Illustration of Sailor Moon finished December 2024. This piece is a redraw-of a redraw-of a redraw.

Since I did this before with another illustration, I thought I do it again for this Pokémon fan-art! So here is a side-by-side of the in-progress screenshots & what ended up being the final piece. It definitely was an emotional rollercoaster getting it how I liked it. #art #Pokémon #fanart

Image of combined screenshots that I took at different points of progress of an illustration I made of the gen 9 Pokémon starters.
From left to right, each one is numbered from 1 to 7. 1 being towards the start of the illustration & 7 being near the completion of the piece.

Illustration of the gen 9 Pokémon starters Sprigatito, fuecoco & quaxly. Fuecoco, in a blaze of fire, is excitedly jumping down with poor Sprigatito just below him. Both Sprigatito & Quaxly look up towards Fuecoco in shock as the illustration takes place seconds before he is to land where Sprigatito sits.

I'm someone who tries to screenshot their work at multiple times of progress ~ Soo here are the early phases of this illustration next to what the finished piece looked like. The one thing I feel I need to work on is how sloppy my process probably looks 😅 Should I show more process shots? #art

Depicted here are the screenshots taken at different intervals of progress. 1.) is the sketch with color painted under, 2.) is me beginning to establish the render, 3.) I begin to color in details and photo bash a background 4.) Is further refinement 5.) I felt she was lonely so sketch in a bee friend & 6.) I refine the background by overpainting and develop the little bee guy by adding color.

Finished Illustration: Its a girl with two bee friends!
