I will say though, Operation Bounce House did have a moment that knocked me fully out of it. I had to put it down and take a walk. I can suspend disbelief for colonies on other planets and mechs and a whole lot--but not for teens covering 90s rap rock hundreds of years later. 😅

Finished Operation Bounce House last night, and I really enjoyed it. I think it would be impossible not to compare Dinniman's other work to DCC at this point, and it doesn't quite hit that same mark for me, but it's a timely and interesting story--certainly worth the read.

Thankful for rounding out all of the achievements in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. I've been playing TMNT games for around 35 years, and this is the best one. I'll die on this hill.

A friend passed away this week (RIP Tom 💔), and it didn't take the rumor mill long to cook up some causes for death like murder and suicide. All unsubstantiated as of now. But that didn't stop Google AI from picking it up & running with it--which of course got back to and greatly upset his family.

It's no secret I loved the first Grounded. It's my favorite survival game and one of my outright favorites of all time. So, I'm absolutely dead center of the target demo here, but... I fucking love Grounded 2 so far y'all.

1000% agree. The intro with the heralds I remember being particularly jarring personally. It all becomes clearer as the story unfolds, but I'm not big on prefaces that can only be appreciated in retrospect. Despite all that, it's an easy top 10, and I look forward to your thoughts farther in! 🙂

My biggest takeaway from hitting a sold out show with a friend who had fancy VIP tickets tonight? They can charge more for a VIP. They can further monetize that VIP with upsells like seat & table areas. But they haven't yet found a way to cash in on not sitting beside someone farting every 3m.
