Communities around the world are celebrating Nowruz, also known by some as the Persian New Year. Nowruz, meaning "new day," marks the arrival of spring. It is a day for reflection about the past, and to look towards the future with hope and optimism. (1/6)

Similar protections will now exist for places of public worship. Eligible religious buildings could establish clearly marked access zones to help ensure people can enter safely.

Our priority's simple: protect access to public spaces & support respectful expression. Free expression's protected—but harassment or blocking access isn't. People can still express their views—peacefully, respectfully—but not in ways that block entry or disrupt essential learning or worship spaces.

The Caregiver Benefit has been stuck at just $13 a day since it was introduced in 2009 by the NDP. Liberal and PC governments froze it while costs kept rising — and under the Houston government, those have skyrocketed.
A graphic on an orange background features a quote from Jenny Theriault, Executive Director of Caregivers Nova Scotia, highlighting how caregiver burnout increases pressure on home care, hospitals, and long-term care and why supporting caregivers is both compassionate and practical.
