It's one of the oldest tricks in the book - just mirroring the scene and drawing it twice (and same goes for the cat with his scale set to (-1,1,1)). What's cool is that I can just use the mirror modifier in Blender and not have to sync the mirrored scene manually.

My initial reaction to the OoT Remake Kid Link was "I don't like his look", but after seeing him move in the world and how his design translates to Adult Link I warmed up to it quite a bit I still hate the Owl's redesign; he better still do his headspin. He's an important part of the OoT experience
