Let me say I did not read the review of Isle of Reveries, but it is a standout game so far! Puzzles are top notch! And combat, while Link like, it has some actually thinking to it. So if anyone is on the fence, this is your sign to play it.

A big inspiration for Isle of Reveries was the Boss Keys series by @gamemakerstoolkit.com where they chart out Zelda dungeons. It is so easy to create an over world and slap some dungeons in it and call it a Zelda-like. It's a totally different beast to understand the flow, dungeon feel, puzzle structure, secrets. And Isle of Reveries knows all of those things to such a great degree.

Isle of Reveries 100% beat! Fantastic game that really understands the genre and feels like a direct continuation of the ideas laid out in the Oracle of Ages/Seasons games. And as such, it definitely skews a bit harder in its dungeons and over world navigation. Loved my time with it

Last one, Isle of Reveries I loved mina the hollower, but it didn't really feel like a 2d zelda game to me, i loved it as something else. But if you miss games like oracle of ages/link's awakening, this might be the top down rpg adventure game for you

Awesome game, I finished it yesterday and IMHO it's on par with classics like the oracle seried and almost on the level of Links Awakening, it seems like someone understood what made those games great and has brilliant ideas to bring to the table. I recommend it to any fan of the genre.
