I hate a lot of debates and debateesque articles because the intial questions tend to already frame the topic in a way that one position is one step behind, and add (maybe unknowingly) a ton of assumptions. How often have you seen "has woke gone too far?" instead of "should woke go further?"

The cluelessness of this reminds me a lot of the NFT grift. The thing about NFTs was that it was mainly something finance bros were into, and when they were trying to worm their way into gaming, their pitches were an abyssal trench of bad ideas because they couldn't grasp why people played games.

We're a decade past Cambridge Analytica ad targeting scandals and even Facebook still doesn't expose the native FB likes/interests being used to target ads. Microtargeting is largely invisible. We've got the same problems with open web programmatic advertising - but there are standards to help!🧵

While editing this I might have found a resolve bug (gotta test tomorrow if I can replicate it) and learned that I do not like fusion for some of the edit style that I am used to. For another idea that might become a second poop I tried to do a thing with three clips and it felt bad to do in fusion.
