friend berated me today for not posting my art anymore so heres a WIP

art that is a work in progress, showing a grassy field and body of water in the background. a girl named eddy has a hand on her hip and the other shielding her eyes as she peers to the left. she is not colored in, only lineart. there is a chihuhua sniffing the ground on the bottom right.

We're going live with a Fallout: New Vegas stream because I'm snowed in this afternoon! Time to meet this fella and get a bigger picture view of the Mojave! twitch.tv/strugglepunk2

If you're not buying vanillaware games you need to have a hard look at yourself and ask why you're not. Then buy another copy of dragon crown.

A picture of an in show word processor program with the text "'Summer Time Rendering' Nagumo Ryuunosuke" on an otherwise blank page.

Oh, also while I'm thinking about it, Dandadan is definitely anime of the season for me. Caught up this last weekend. I'm weekly on the manga right now so I knew episode 7 was gonna be a big moment going into it, but science saru really knocked that out of the park. Hop on if you're not already.

Watched a lot of anime over the weekend with my partner (the wonderful @sketcheddy.bsky.social) and boy summertime rendering would've been better if it was only 12 episodes. Everything in the second cour (so far, we're halfway through) has been pretty rough compared to the first one.

A lot of people responsible for poor decisions are on a press tour right now because if they didn’t, people would rightfully be questioning THEIR leadership and they know it. It’s weak even by normal left-punching standards. Zero evidence more Liz Cheney would have won this. The opposite, actually.

Y'know i never did actually get to watch the Tyson Paul fight because of netflix's issues, so really as long as I never see Jake Paul again I can just live in a world where he died in the ring last night.

Been replaying some Recettear lately (thanks mel) and while I do really think it's a fun little bit of design especially given how novel the idea was when it first dropped, once you get an idea of where the numbers are, the game kinda shows how thin it can be. Still a great way to waste an hour or 2

Very happy that bluesky seems to be hitting Critical Mass as a platform. Thankfully it seems like the blocking and muting tools here are robust enough so I don't even have that "aw hell those guys I hate are here now" feeling.

Playing some New Vegas! We're making our way into Freeside, and from there, the Strip proper! twitch.tv/strugglepunk2

A picture of a scrap wall, lined with metal bridges and towers. The structures are patrolled by bulky robots with tv faces. A gate is in the wall, with a colorful neon gate with "WELCOME TO THE STRIP" lit up in neon.

I've been seeing a bunch of people on social media talking about Mass Effect in the context of Culture War Shit now that Veilguard is out and commercially pretty successful, especially people pre-cheering that people who decided DA as woke are going to piss blood at how Mass Effect is.

I like that the three working theories for why Twitter broke are: 1.) Twitter is DDoSing itself because Elon is an idiot. 2.) Twitter is losing servers after the company ignored bills because Elon is an idiot. 3.) Twitter hopes to force people to pay because Elon is an idiot.

So like, when twitter actually for real shuts down, how many deranged musk stans just straight up become the most insane type of conspiracy /pol/ poster? Previous overlap not counted, of course.

My guess is that this is the first day of Q3 and Twitter literally has no cash flow to pay its cloud vendors so they have to cut usage substantially. It's about to go bankrupt and Linda will be thrown off the glass cliff.

Been playing a lot of FFXVI over the last week, and I'm of two minds on that news story during the leadup about how there wouldn't be 'significant representation' of PoC in the game. (obviously some light spoilers for the game)

Gonna try to be a little more active on here (e.g. posting, making announcements) than I am on twitter. Never too late to try and form better habits, I guess.

Very embarrassing that I got an invite code 11 days ago and just never noticed it. I need to hate less and hustle more, tbh.
