![United Assumes Oil Goes to $175/Barrel, Won'T Drop Till 2027

(Bloomberg) -- United said it assumes oil prices will go for $175 per barrel and does not drop to $100 per barrel until the end of 2027, according to a company statement.
• Said of prices stayed at current level, it would mean an extra $11 billion in annual expense just for jet fuel
• Added it's Canceling 3 points of flying in off peak periods in 2Q and 3Q
• Will continue with plans to take delivery of about 120 new aircraft this year
• Said nothing changes about its longer-term plans for aircraft deliveries or total capacity for 2027 and beyond
