There is nothing like going to a museum exhibition that feels catered to you! That was my experience going to the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library to go see the special exhibition, "Aere Perennius: The Classical Traditions of Homer, Cicero, Plutarch, and Apuleius," curated by Dr. Timothy Perry.
Exterior window display featuring large black-and-white illustrated portraits of classical figures and an exhibition poster reading “Aere Perennius: The Classical Traditions of Homer, Cicero, Plutarch, and Apuleius,” with dates and library information.

Today in 1983 in Moscow, just past midnight, 44 year-old Lt. Col. Dear #medievalsky. I've been coming across tropes of well-poisoning (sometimes implicit, sometimes explicit) in early medieval hagiographies, but the secondary literature on this topic focuses on the twelfth century and beyond. Is anyone aware of articles on well-poisoning for the early Middle Ages?
