'edit with copilot' is more irritating than that paperclip was. The imposition of pointless AI into everything is just wasting time and effort and planetary resources.

A message to the people in #70Up: we have grown up together, and I’ve always watched with fascination, but the current series fills me with such unspeakable joy and grief at the same time. Thank you. A true epic. I salute you x

So Ratcliffe's Ineos is stopping production due to gas prices. The BBC mentions that despite being a supporter of brexit he's been Monaco resident since 2020. They don't mention *why* he moved to Monaco... According to reports at the time it was to avoid paying large amounts of tax. Some patriot.

Reading the news is just depressing. Misanthropes throwing large sums of money at Reform. Britain First having remigration demonstrations. Knuckle draggers having 'stop the boats' rallies. And all this time... silence from our government.

This is really bad news. Putting Science/Technology into the same ministry as Culture, Media and Sports... It's large enough and important enough to require its own ministry.

What I hate about the 'culture wars' of the last ten or so years is how it has sapped my generosity of spirit. I find myself reading bad news about someone whose views I despise and find myself lacking the empathy I once had.

Farage claiming he's a longstanding advocate for crypto and gifts buy no influence. It doesn't pass the 'sniff' test; -on the one hand he claims 'he doesn't do computers', - on the other hand he claims he has his own views on crypto. It's bullshit. One of those statements is a lie (or both).

I see projections of vote share in various councils in the local elections and frankly can't believe so many are willing to consider reform. When you read about the mess being made in their existing councils. Maybe it's what we need though, reform voters experiencing reform in (local) government?
