Why would you let an LLM stream rando html, guided by *a skill* 🙄, when you could use an LLM during dev to define a json schema, send it to the frontend, and have it render in a normal-ass deterministic and thoughtfully created set of frontend components? What I am preaching to the choir what?

This is a duh kind of comment, but I really don't know how people will learn the basics of web dev stuff if they start doing it via agentic dev. And it's honestly already having the knowledge of how things actually work that make it an effective tool.

Kind of can't believe that Project Runway did not make the NYT list of top 100 shows of the century. This is the only show that I have watched socially (i.e. made a social event out of watching together) for, gulp, two decades in so many different phases of my life. (Incl last weekend)

Is there any intermediate measure that can be taken between verbally advising someone of the perils of hacky workarounds and having them experiencing the pain for themselves? I do not know a third way to effectively teach/impart this lesson.

Everytime I interact in writing/async with another designer (I'm the only one at my workplace), I'm like, "OMG thank you so much for your hyper organized and clear message!!!!" And they are like. "Uh, okay, I just used paragraphs, proper casing, and didn't write it with Claude??"

Actually here is a data viz post: 1. My own personal catchphrase for data viz is, "it's not a data viz w/o text." 2. Since that is how I think, I will say that my experience is that prepositions (which handle relations b/w things, often spatial) are the most important part of speech in data viz.

Even when LLMs write well, the lack of variety in style is crippling. Reading the same prose in your instructions & social media & advertisements & software & PowerPoint eventually makes one queasy. Prompting & temperature only gets you so far. Real variation is needed (and under-researched)
